Meet Jane, studio owner at Pilates on Collingwood Street.

Movement is key to a life lived well – a philosophy Jane has actively shared in her role as a health and wellbeing specialist over the last twenty years.

As a respected Pilates educator, and qualified Pilates instructor, as well as rehab trainer and stretch therapy teacher, Jane is passionate about using movement as medicine.

 

We caught up with Jane to dive into her journey and experiences at the studio.

Tell Us A Bit About Your Studio

At Pilates on Collingwood Street, we focus on using the power of Pilates to help everyone age strong, move with confidence, and enjoy life. Small class sizes and personalised instruction are key to helping our clients feel seen and supported. oh and add a cute sock to that!

What is your favourite part of being an instructor?

My favourite part of being an instructor is seeing those “aha” moments when clients finally connect to a stabilising muscle that offers support, and for the first time, they’re either pain-free or activating correctly. It’s so rewarding to witness that transformation.

How long have you been a Pointe Studio fan?

We’ve been fans of Pointe Studio socks for over 6 years, we were super excited when they got an Australian distributor—especially right here in Brisbane!

What is one of your favourite things about Pointe Studio?

One of my favourite things about Pointe Studio is the grip! It’s not just about comfort, these socks keep you grounded, stable, and ready to move. They also last a really long time....

My go-to Pilates sock is the Union grip sock in black—it’s sleek, functional, and never lets us down on the reformer. We love a smiley face or heart to take it up a level!
